uninstall windows sidebar

Uninstall Windows Sidebar

How do I get Windows Sidebar off my HD completely?
Tried going into Programs and searching for it, but did not find it. I do see it in my File Structure (in Program Files\Windows Sidebar)
But
there is no option to uninstall it.

Thats because you are not suppose to uninstall it, you can disable it and prevent it from starting up with Windows. Open Control Panel > (set to "Classic View") > open Windows Sidebar > uncheck "Start Sidebar when Windows Starts") -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I have to ask, why on earth would you want to completely uninstall it? You can simply turn it off if you don't like it.
I'm not particularly fond of Outlook Express/Windows Mail, but I've never had the urge to uninstall it. If you're that hard pressed for hard disk space, I don't think Vista is for you. :-)
